The 12th Triennial Congress of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, 4-8 August, 1953 in Paris, France:
The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom which has always advocated the peaceful solution of international conflicts,
notes with satisfaction the signs of lessening tension which have been apparent during the last few months.
The International Executive Committee of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom assembled in Paris, August 10-12th, 1953, asks all National Sections
to be alert to the factors which obstruct peace, wherever they are found, and
to support any measures which contribute to the bringing together of peoples.
