WILPF made this written submission to the CEDAW Committee’s “Half-day general discussion on trafficking in women and girls in the context of global migration on trafficking in women and girls in the context of global migration” held on 22 February 2019.
In this written submission, WILPF draws particular attention to the critical impact that foreign military bases and military interventions have on trafficking of women and girls and advocates for the CEDAW Committee to address these concerns in the general recommendation that it will develop on trafficking in women and girls.
