WILPF submitted this oral statement together with the General Union of Palestinian Women (GUPW) to the 46th session of the UN Human Rights Council regarding the General Dialogue (GD) on the Council’s agenda Item 7, Human Rights Situation in Palestine and other occupied Arab territories.
The statement’s calls include urging Israel to fulfill obilgations to provide vaccines to the Palestinian population living under occupied territories; support to civil society efforts in implementing the new NAP on WPS; and recognition of Israel’s occupation to the Palestinian territories as a thread to women’s peace and security.
